Job Duties: The employer is: HOLIDAY INN.Welcoming guests in a warm, friendly & courteous manner at all times.Preparation of restaurant/bar, setting tables.Taking food & drink orders.Learning menus.Assisting customers.Operating tills, managing payments. Meals & drinks to be served efficiently & with minimum delay/wastage.Answering the telephone & taking reservations for restaurant & accommodation.Shadowing reception assisting current staff when needed.Greet all guests, welcome & assist them with any requests, enquires or directions. If you are unable to fully assist them then to refer the request to the Head Housekeeper or supervisor.Clean & service rooms or public areas including making beds, replenishing room stock & sanitising.Completing monitoring sheets.Back of house duties.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.
Qualifications / Experience: The occupational skills for the job role include:Operating Till systems.Handling card payments. Cash handling.Stock replenishment.Basic food hygiene training.Health and Safety training.Coshh Training.Essential:Highly motivated, independent and proactive.Strong work ethic and self-starter; able adapt to change within a fast-paced environment.Good communication Skills.Excellent attention to detail.
