Job Duties: Responsible for the day to day management and organisation of sections within the departmentResponsible for the implementation of policies relating to personnel, health and safety, provision of supplies, finances, statistics and administration.To establish and maintain an adequate education and training programme for BMSs and Medical Laboratory Assistants.To deputise for other section leads.
Qualifications / Experience: State Registration with the Health Professional Council (HCPC) as a Biomedical ScientistFellowship of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences or Equivalent postgraduate qualification (Higher Specialist Diploma, MSc).
