Job Duties: Conducting internal quality assurance testing including (microbiological, chemical and organoleptic) Record and maintain a database of test results, communicating outcomes and exceptions to the Laboratory Supervisor Adhere to strict quality and laboratory procedures in line with Company policy Collection, preparation and/or testing of samples across the production process Cleaning & maintaining laboratory and testing equipment Writing and delivering laboratory/testing reviews/reports to Senior Staff as required Maintaining an up to date knowledge of relevant scientific and technical requirements Undertaking any other duties as required in the delivery of an effective Quality/Lab function

Qualifications / Experience: Essential: Secondary level education to include GCSE Mathematics and English and a minimum of GCSE Double Award Science Grade C. Desirable: A third level education, typically a degree in food quality discipline, basic food hygiene and IT skills. Please note the weekly hours exceed the 48+ hour Working Time Directive and the successful applicant may be required to sign an "opt-out" form.

Other Information: You should have the flexibility to work on rotating shifts covering late evening, weekend and public holiday working. Successful applicants will be fully trained.The role is available throughout the peak period from March to August 2022.
