Job Duties: The successful candidate will work within our engineering team to help deliver world-leading technology and process capability. Your role will involve setting up, controlling, and improving processes to deliver best product performance and yield.You will:Set up and control processes according to wafer performance specifications. Implement Statistical Process control and set up rules and procedures for reacting to out-of-control situationsDefine and carry out process optimization projects for recording head performance and yield improvement. Working with Equipment Vendors for qualification of new equipment and processes and introduction of new technologyEngage with the Development team for new process qualification and new product introduction.Participate in cross functional teams for yield improvement and scrap reduction

Qualifications / Experience: At least two years' engineering experience working in a high-tech research or manufacturing environmentProven track record of strong problem solving and analytical skillsDemonstrated project management skillsYou may also have:Qualification in materials science, magnetics, chemistry, physics or engineering related disciple.Research experience of PhD or post-doctoral research on related field Please note that you must demonstrate on the application how you meet the criteria for the role as identified above.
