Job Duties: The performance of various analytical procedures.The following of quality control procedures in accordance with QC Test Instruction Sheets.The processing of data and analysis of component results in adherence with specific criteriaThe accurate completion and maintenance of quality control recordsThe troubleshooting of day to day quality issuesThe preparation of Certificates of AnalysisAlerting QC Team Leader / Supervisor to any problems in the QC of products and analysers

Qualifications / Experience: Essential:Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent in a Science related subjectAdaptable and enjoy working in a fast-paced environmentPossess excellent organisational and communication skills (both written and oral).Possess initiative and the ability to work as part of a teamBe computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft packagesHave excellent organisation skills with an eye for detail and the ability to prioritise work in a logical fashionDesirable:Analytical and documentation of large data sets experienceBSC in a relevant Biomedical or Life Science related subjectExperience in the operation of automated clinical chemistry analysers
