Job Duties: The role will have the responsibility of maintaining a safe working environment, providing immediate response and efficient resolutions to down-time situations.Complete preventative maintenance as scheduled on assigned equipment.Keep the production tools within critical process parameters.Fault-find and return production tools from unplanned downs.Assist with the installation and qualification of production equipment. Assist engineering on improvement projects to ensure process capability and reliability of equipment sets to operate within ever tightening process margins.Record detailed and accurate information on work performed via maintenance software in parallel with regular updates to the Equipment Technician Manager.Be involved in cost effective repair of faulty components in-house or ensuring offsite repair by highlighting and returning any non-conforming goods to stores.

Qualifications / Experience: Technical Engineering Qualification relevant to role and / or NVQ Level 3 relevant to role.You might also have:Higher level qualification - Mechanical or Engineering .
