Job Duties: Logging of samples on arrival to LIMS database and preparation for samples for testing.Carry out testing of Poultry and Porcine blood samples to ISO17025 standards by various methodsTesting of water samplesPreparation and testing of PCR SamplesPreparation of reagents as requiredInput of data onto spreadsheetMaintenance of general hygiene and housekeeping in accordance with laboratory COHH and risk assessment
Qualifications / Experience: Essential skillsThe ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate:Ability to work as part of a teamA flexible approach to work including hoursReliable, punctual and well organisedPrevious laboratory experience and knowledge of Quality Procedures would be an advantage.
