Job Duties: Coordination of all elements of Building Services designCoordination of designs with other disciplinesProducing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's) for various ductwork and pipework systemsPerforming ductwork and pipework sizing calculationsPerforming fan and pump static pressure calculationsPerforming heat exchanger sizing calculations & Specification and selection of equipment.Navigating 3D model viewing softwareEstimate Generation and TBAsPreparation of Tender DocumentsAttendance at Factory Acceptance and Site Acceptance TestsLiaising with vendors and contractorsConstruction and commissioning support including dealing with contractor queriesBuilding Management Systems - development of systems architecture, specifications, controls strategies, sequence of operations through all design stagesKnowledge & experience of current CIBSE, Building Regulations, EN and IEC Standards
Qualifications / Experience: Degree level in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering with 1 years relevant post graduate experience A full current driving licence and access to a car. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.Ability to be flexible and adaptable as the role will involve travel, the majority of which will be in the UK and IrelandFamiliarity with health & safety regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
