Job Duties: Job SummaryResponsible for conducting the relevant checks as required by Company policies in relation to food safety, good manufacturing practice, good hygiene practice, product specifications, etc., the documentation of checks, exception reporting to QA/Lab Supervisor and initiating corrective action where required. Duties: Working knowledge of customer specificationsCarry out various checks on product and packs, e.g. HACCP pre-requisites, temperature, gas, labels, metal detection, leakers, etc., and reject any non-conformancesTake samples from products, packs and labels for further analysis in the labTest incoming raw material e.g. shelf-life, when requiredEnsure all relevant paperwork has been completed on a daily basisEnsure that all operatives adhere to Company rules and hygiene standards, and take rules bonus if necessary.
Qualifications / Experience: Experience in a quality department desirable Must have some computer skills
