Job Duties: Be responsible for the distribution, handling, incubation and assessment of microbiological samples including the inputting of usage figures.Prepare chemical reagents as required, and maintain the systematic storage of chemicals and reagents in the laboratory including expiry date checking.Carry out the preparation for sterility testing and clear up post sterility testing.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.

Qualifications / Experience: A minimum of 4 GCSEs grade A-C/ 9-4 or equivalent to include English Language and Mathematics and at least 2 years experience as a Support Worker in a hospital pharmacy department or hospital pharmacy manufacturing unit or laboratory setting or as pharmacy assistant in retail pharmacy.OR3 years experience as an Assistant Technical Officer/ Support Worker in a hospital pharmacy department or hospital pharmacy manufacturing unit or laboratory setting or as Pharmacy Assistant in retail pharmacy.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
