Job Duties: To provide a safe, reliable, high-quality, and responsive technical service to students and lecturers. Facilitating the practical aspects of main subjects within the curriculum area and training students on the correct use of equipment and underpinning the knowledge necessary for safe and effective practice.Successful candidates may be required to work some evenings.The successful applicant may be required to work in any of the Colleges buildings, as necessary.

Qualifications / Experience: Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in a science, technology, engineering, or construction (STEM) related discipline PLUS have at least one-year industrial experience OR Have at least three year's industrial experience.Hold a valid first aid at work certificate or give undertaking to complete the course and any necessary training following appointment.Practical experience of routine maintenance and repair procedures for machinery and equipment in the construction sector.Have a working knowledge of workshop procedures.Demonstrable experience of understanding and carrying out Health & Safety procedures.Experience of completing risk assessments Experience of ordering equipment.
