Salary: £18,000 - £19,000 per annum.
Hours: 37.5
Worktime: 9am - 5:30pm.

Job Duties: Dealing with customer container requests, ensuring completion in a timely manner.Receiving and booking in water samples via a LIMS system to customer requirements.Preparing and labelling samples for laboratory analysis.Liaising with couriers for collections and deliveries.Organising samples to subcontract to a UKAS accredited laboratory for the appropriate analysis specified by the client.Assisting the Analysts and Laboratory Manager with sample analysis.Preparation, labelling and storage of media and reagents.To Quality Control all media made both in-house and bought in pre-poured.To maintain and monitor all Laboratory equipment on a daily basis.
Qualifications / Experience: Organisational and prioritising skills. Interpersonal skills.Meticulous attention to detail.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.Preferred laboratory experience.GCSE Maths, English and Science - Grade C or above (or equivalent).A-level Science (or equivalent).
