Job Duties: The role will involve the design and detailing of a wide range of precast concrete products and mouldage. The successful candidate will be tasked with: Undertaking CAD drawing and detailing associated with the manufacture of precast productsProducing CAD General Arrangement and Reinforced Concrete details, with associated reinforcement scheduling for projectsGenerating production documents for approval and manufactureLiaising with internal and external clients, contractors and consultantsEnsuring work output conforms to specifications and standard/code requirementsMaintaining project recordsLiaising with the factory production teamsAssisting with drawing and technical queriesKeeping up to date technically and applying new knowledge to the jobIn return, the successful candidate will be rewarded with:Competitive SalaryBonus schemeContributory pension schemePermanent roleFlexible working arrangements

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:English & Maths equivalent to Grade C or aboveExperience in CADGood computer skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular ExcelAbility to read technical drawingsExceptional attention to detailMethodical approach to solving queriesGood time management skills with the ability to prioritise work and manage a number of tasks concurrentlyAbility to work on own initiative but understand level of responsibility within the teamExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to interact with a wide range of people including clients, contractors & consultantsDemonstrate the ability to work calmly under pressureBe highly motivated individual with initiative, self-confidence, with the drive and ability to work under their own direction or within a team of professionalsBe keen to develop their individual capability and career developmentDesirable Criteria:Specific AutoCAD qualification
