Job Duties: Please see job information for more detail Assist with the preparation and implementation of an individualised/ group learning programme for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This would be delivered in consultation with other members of the team and with the class teacher who has direct responsibility for the pupil.Facilitate the delivery of a range of interventions that are deemed to be appropriate to meet the needs of the individual pupil. These may include TEACCH, PECS, behavioural interventions based on the principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) and Social Learning approaches.Prepare materials that may be required to support the individual pupil in the classroom context as well as other aspects of the school setting.

Qualifications / Experience: Please see job information for full list of criteria Hold a bachelor's degree (UK Qualifications and Credit Framework Level 6) in Psychology or Social Science or Education or equivalent or higher qualification in an equivalent subject area as recognised by the Education Authority Have a minimum of one year's experience of working with pupils with special educational needs in a school setting
