Job Duties: The Special Needs Support worker will work as part of a team and provided 1:1 support for a child with Special Educational Needs.They will assist personal care needs and the appropriate support to allow the child to experience the full breadth of the Pre School Curriculum.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential:At least 1 year's Experience in a paid capacity working within the Northern Ireland Pre-School Curriculum with experience in planning and observations.QCF /NVQ level II in Children's Care Learning and Development or equivalent. A willingness to undertake additional trainingFlexible and enthusiasticApplicants must be over 18 year's oldDesirable:Experience working with children with additional or special needsEvidence of undertaking short courses as part of continued professional developmentValid, in date paediatric first aid, food safety and safeguarding certificates
