Job Duties: The overall purpose of the post is to develop and deliver high-quality accredited training courses and related employability interventions to participants across the Ignite project area. The Education & Progression Manager has responsibility for line management of the project's Wellbeing for Work Coach, supporting the post holder to design and develop interventions that improve participants' wellbeing and address identified barriers to progression.
Qualifications / Experience: The essentials:A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, B.Ed. or Certificate in Education obtained in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland.A minimum of 1 year's experience of delivering classroom-based training in a group setting (paid or voluntary).6 months' experience of working with people with Autism and/or Learning Disability in a paid or voluntary capacity.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Access, Excel etc.Current full driving license, valid in the UK, and access to a car or other form of transport which will permit you to carry out the duties of the post in full. N.B: Alternative transport methods will be considered for those who have a disability and cannot obtain a driving licence.
