Job Duties: The post holder will be responsible for working effectively with the Head of Department to lead and manage all aspects of the Department's activities including assisting in the delivery, development, and management of an economically focussed and relevant curriculum, the effective management of staff and other resources and ensuring the provision of high-quality teaching and learning within the designated curriculum areas. The role will be achieved within a framework of strategic planning and a student-focused curriculum and in accordance with the College Vision. The post holder will deputise for the Head of Department as required.

Qualifications / Experience: Have GCSE English (Grade A-C) or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Communication and GCSE Maths (Grade A-C) or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Numeracy or NICATS Access Maths Modules, or any qualifications which are deemed to be equivalent AndHold a University Degree or equivalent qualification in an area of curriculum offered by the CollegeOrHold at least a level 5 qualification in an area of curriculum offered by the College and have at least three years post qualification industrial, professional or teaching experience And Have Post Graduate Certificate in Education or equivalent qualification recognised for teaching in the Northern Ireland FE Sector or be currently registered with the General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland (GTCNI).Full criteria available at https://nwrc.getgotjobs.co.uk/
