Job Duties: To promote and develop a programme of courses in a curriculum area appropriate to the educational and training needs of the area and ensure course delivery meets internal and external quality expectations.There is no guarantee of work, however, if work becomes available the hours of work will vary based on the demands of the College. The post holder will be required to adopt a flexible approach (including evening work).The successful applicant may be required to work in any of the Colleges buildings, as necessary.

Qualifications / Experience: GCSE English Language (Grades A-C) OR Essential Skills Level 2 or higher in Communication, or equivalent.GCSE Mathematics (Grades A-C) OR Essential skills Level 2 or higher in Application of Number, OR NICATS Access Maths Modules or equivalent.Minimum of a Degree in a Physics subject OR a closely related subject or a Degree in which physics is a main component.Minimum of one years relevant professional experience and/or teaching experience.Experience of teaching GCSE and/or A Level Physics for a period of at least 1 academic year.A detailed job description can be found on our website www.belfastmet.ac.uk/jobs
