Job Duties: To promote and develop a programme of courses in a curriculum area appropriate to the educational and training needs of the area and ensure course delivery meets internal and external quality expectations.There is no guarantee of work, however, if work becomes available the hours of work will vary based on the demands of the College.The post holder will be required to adopt a flexible approach (including evening work).The successful applicant may be required to work in any of the College's buildings, as necessary.

Qualifications / Experience: GCSE English Language (Grades A-C) or Essential Skills Level 2 or higher in Communication, or equivalent.GCSE Mathematics (Grades A-C) or Essential skills Level 2 or higher in Application of Number, or NICATS Access Maths Modules or equivalent.Minimum of a Degree (Level 6) in a Biology subject or a closely related subject or a degree in which Biology is a main component.Experience of a range of laboratory techniques relevant to GCSE and A level Biology.Experience of teaching GCSE and/or A Level Biology for a period of at least 1 academic year.Day and evening delivery is required.A detailed job description can be found on our website www.belfastmet.ac.uk/jobs
