Job Duties: To carry out the duties of a Lecturer as set out in the Contract for Lecturers.The successful applicant may be required to work in any of the College's buildings, as necessary.

Qualifications / Experience: Unless already recognised by the Department for Employment & Learning (DEL) for teaching in Further Education and currently employed in a Further Education College in N.I as a full-time/Associate Lecturer, applicants must hold GCSE English Language & Maths (Grades A-C) or equivalent.Either hold, or be in the process of completing, a teaching qualification recognised by the DEL for teaching in further education or commit to completing the Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Further Education) in line with requirements of the Contract for Lecturers.Either hold a degree (Level 6) or higher in Culinary Arts/Professional Cookery or a management discipline, and 1 year's experience at senior level managing a professional kitchen or hold a Level 5 qualification or higher in Culinary Arts/Professional Cookery, or a management discipline, and 3 years' experience at senior level managing a professional kitchen.A detailed job description can be found at www.belfastmet.ac.uk/jobs.
