Job Duties: The Post holder will provide first class curriculum management by working in partnership with a team of dedicated staff, the Head of Department and other members of the College Leadership Teams to ensure that the College is recognised for excellence in all that it does. Within a designated curriculum area, the post holder will have an innovative approach to teaching, learning and assessment and will develop and lead on the implementation of strategies and business plans to develop a highly responsive curriculum, which provides staff and students with the opportunities they need to be successful. The post holder will ensure high standards of excellence in teaching and learning are achieved in their relevant curriculum area through the delivery of an effective and efficient service. The post holder will expected to teach a minimum of 2 hours per week for 32 weeks (this may be annualised) and may be required to work in any of the College's buildings, as necessary

Qualifications / Experience: Be qualified in accordance with DEL Circular FE01/12 to teach in an Institution of Further Education. (Please refer to the circular, a copy of which is included for your information in this application pack that outlines the minimum qualifications required to teach in Further Education and demonstrate how you meet this, highlighting relevant qualifications including Maths and English at GCSE Grade C or higher, or equivalent)Hold, or be in the process of completing, a teaching qualification recognised by the Department for Employment and Learning for teaching in further education or be already recognised as a qualified teacher in an Institution of Further Education in accordance with DEL Circular FE01/12.As a minimum hold a recognised degree (level 6) qualification (or equivalent)
