Job Duties: To teach employability and personal development courses at Levels 1 and 2 to young learners across each of our sites. Classes will combine face-to-face delivery in classrooms along with e-teaching and assessment.To participate actively in the monitoring and assessment of learners. You will be expected to assess learners skills and knowledge, as well as providing one to one feedback and mentoring to improve performance.To complete required paperwork including assessment plans and monitoring reviews to a high standard. Each learner is required to complete a portfolio of evidence which you are expected to mark and assess. Act as academic and pastoral tutor to learners and help source work placements.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential criteria:Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in advice and guidance / employability / personal development or equivalent.GCSE English and Maths Grade C or equivalent.Willingness to help young learners achieve and succeed.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Desirable criteria:Hold a recognised Assessors Award / Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (D33 / A1).Have experience in delivering teaching, training and qualifications would be advantageous.Level 4 Certificate in Teaching / PGCE or equivalent.Ability to utilise ICT.
