Job Duties: You would be engaging children in sessions to support literacy and numeracy improvement, working with parents to equip them to encourage learning at home and bringing children and parents together after school for learning and play activities. You will need experience of teaching combined with experience of working with parents to engage them in their children's learning.This post will be covering a maternity leave, starting as soon as possible and ending in April 2023, to be confirmed.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:Professional qualification to degree level in Teaching i.e. Bachelor of Education or Degree with PGCE. Demonstrable experience of direct work with children in primary school and in a non-teaching/community setting.Demonstrable experience of working with parents to support them with involvement in their childrens learning.Desirable Criteria:Demonstrable experience of delivering programmes to school staff, parents/carers and children e.g. Incredible Years Parenting Programmes, DINA, Teacher Classroom Management, transition programmes.
