Job Duties: Development and delivery of procurement strategies and improvement in all-round supply chain performance through liaison and negotiation with key stakeholders including colleagues, customers and suppliers for the specialist product / service category for which the post holder has direct responsibility and in the wider context of contributing to the overall performance improvement of the Procurement Directorate.Close operational liaison with all local and regional customers (from Board level to front end user) and the management of an effective customer liaison regime for the specialist area for which the post holder is responsible.

Qualifications / Experience: A primary degree AND at least three years' (within the past ten years) relevant experience at a middle to senior management level of letting and managing contracts preferably under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 within a specialist function in a large complex organisation.ORA relevant Professional Qualification, such as full membership of CIPS or CILT AND at least three years' (within the past ten years) relevant experience at a middle to senior management level of letting and managing contracts preferably under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 within a specialist function in a large complex organisation.
