Job Duties: Due to an increase in business an experienced stores person is required for a well-established carpet business based in Derry. This role would suit a reliable and hard-working individual who is a team player and can work in a small team.The Store person is responsible for the physical dispatch, receipt and internal movement of stock in a safe and efficient mannerYou should focus on upholding work standards and providing excellent customer service.Areas of responsibility include the loading and unloading of Carpet in a safe & timely manner, receipt of incoming goods and the organisation of stock in the warehouse locations.Must be able to lift heavy rolls of carpets and bring to warehouse by operating forkliftPrevious experience driving forklift essential, with forklift licence.Ability to measure carpets advantageousThe Store person will report to the General Manager

Qualifications / Experience: The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years' experience working within a similar industry, carpet or flooring with a forklift licence and experience operating one.The ideal candidate will be reliable and dependable with strong work ethic A good standard of education desirable, however, strong work ethic and ability to carry out job is a priority.Must be able to provide work references to back up work history and experience.
