Job Duties: Only Women May Apply For This JobCommunity Resettlement WorkerResponsible to:Community Services ManagerLocation: Newtownabbey base (will include responding to women in other geographical areas ABCLN) Hours of work: 30 hours per weekDuration: 1 year initially (funding contract is renewed annually) Summary of job role: The Community Resettlement Worker will work in conjunction with Floating Support Workers ensuring that women living in the community affected by domestic abuse receive comprehensive and appropriate housing-related support to help address the impact of domestic abuse on their lives. Qualifications / Experience: Sound educational backgroundA minimum of one years experience (working at least 16hrs per week paid or unpaid) with Womens Aid or equivalent experience with another support service. Experience in facilitating groups. Experience of information giving.
