Job Duties: This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team working across South and East Belfast and/or Newtownabbey to support parents to help their children do well.This post will be responsible to:Build parental capacity, supporting parents respectfully to engage them in their child's learning and development through home visits and parent and children play sessions.Deliver parent sessions and parenting programmes to parents of preschool and primary age children.Work as part of a team to support positive parenting.Build linkages with schools, community organisations and family support services.Plan and deliver programmes of play and learning activities to improve outcomes for children.

Qualifications / Experience: Qualification in Childcare (a qualification is required for Registration):CCLD, NVQ Level 3, BTEC Awards, Certificates, and Diplomas at level 3, BTEC Nationals, OCR Nationals or relevant professional health and social care qualification above this level.Experience of working with preschool and primary aged children.Demonstrable experience of working with parents to improve parenting skills, for example family support, delivering a parent programme or parent information sessions.
