Job Duties: Full Job Title: Senior Officer (Apartment, Older Persons and Supported Living)The post holder has specific responsibility for ensuring that all communal living environments are managed effectively and efficiently to enable all tenants to maximise the comfort and enjoyment of their home. The post holder will support housing officers in minimising disruption by undertaking sensitive lettings within the confines of the allocations procedures; and ensuring all external contracts are monitored for example Joint Management Agreements, cleaning contracts and Supporting People contracts. They are accountable to the Housing Managers and work as part of a senior team responsible for supporting housing staff in the delivery of a high quality, customer-focused service to all tenants and stakeholders.
Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:3rd level qualification and 2 years' relevant experience working in a Supported housing/community development environment ORAt least 5 years' relevant experience working in a Supported housing/community development environment.*Relevant experience must include:Knowledge of Supported and Shared living including older person's services and people with support needsExperience of managing and monitoring budgets Experience of managing multiple occupancy sitesLiaison and engagement with tenants and/or community groups.Experience of multi-agency and partnership working.Hold a current full, clean (preferably) driving licence with use of a private vehicle for business use or, in the case of disability, be able to demonstrate how the mobility requirements of the position will be met.We reserve the right to enhance criteria to facilitate short listing.
