Job Duties: The Student Wellbeing officer will provide a support intervention service aimed at enabling students to overcome the barriers they face to their learning. The aim of the service is to have a positive impact on retention and ultimately student success.   The role will involve linking directly with learners, liaising with tutors, and college support services internally and externally. The post holder will be required to work in any of the College's buildings as necessary.Â
Qualifications / Experience: Either hold a qualification at Level 5 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline plus have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with young people to overcome barriers to their educational success.Or:Have a minimum of 4 years' experience working with young people to overcome barriers to their educational success.
