Job Duties: Work as part of the team to assist with the development, planning, delivery and evaluation of the Better Together Project. Develop and deliver online and home based social support and wellbeing activities for victims and survivors who (1) can't leave their home or have limited ability to attend out-of-home services due to physical and mental ill health, (2) are isolated, vulnerable and at risk due to physical and mental ill health. Support the development, delivery and evaluation of the projects Gardening Club, Craft Group, South Armagh Outreach Service, Walking Group, Men's Wellbeing Programme, and Intergenerational Pen-Palling Programme. Support the development and delivery of the Better Together Project service user's digital community support hub. Support service users to facilitate live streamed events and create video demonstrations. Develop meaningful relationships with service users so you can plan, organise and deliver activities to suit their needs.
Qualifications / Experience: Essential Education. Recognised qualification in a relevant field to a minimum of diploma level. Essential Skills, Qualities and Knowledge. A good understanding of the needs of individuals who have been physically and psychological impacted by trauma. An interest in activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, up cycling, and walking groups. Good working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office and email, and social media platforms, in particular Facebook, Zoom and Whats App. Access to own method of transport to be able to travel as required for the post. Willing and able to work in different environments, including being office based and spending time on the ground within the community. Essential Experience. Minimum 1 years' experience of developing and facilitating group programmes and workshops. Experience of supporting individuals with mental and physical health needs.
