Job Duties: To work as a member of the CYPS Team in the implementation and delivery of support services to children and young people who have experienced domestic and sexual violence and deliver prevention work to children in the wider community.To participate in the emergency on-call rota for our safe accommodation and community based services.Full job description available with application form.

Qualifications / Experience: Minimum of NVQ Level III Childcare/Youth Work or equivalent, or similar skills evidenced through sufficient experience.Additional training re: family violence, domestic violence, sexual violence, child protection/adult safeguarding will be considered an asset.Experience of multi agency working with agencies, statutory bodies and community service providers.Experience of working with a diverse range of children or young people / vulnerable adults of differing needs and abilities.Experience of facilitating group work programmes with children/young people.Experience of advocacy work and adherence to Policies and Procedures.Knowledge and /or experience of working with victims of Domestic/Sexual violence is preferable.Please note we reserve the right to enhance the short-listing criteria where and when this is deemed necessary and we will retain a reserve list for the same or similar posts for 12 months.Employment is subject to Pre-Employment Screening checks.
