Job Duties: Recovery-led support with mental health, managing self-harm, suicidal ideation, and emotional supportAdministering medication and supporting service users to understand their medicationLiaising with the multi-disciplinary teams in a professional mannerSupporting service users to work towards independent living ¿ acquiring groceries, support to appointments, taking part in activities, budgeting etc.Helping service users to work toward goals and aspirations, including updating an Everyday Living Plan and facilitating monthly key working sessions Managing conflict / Neighbour relations / Housing supportSignposting to specialist servicesComputer skills to update care plans, risk assessments, monthly summaries etc.Recording skillsSafeguarding service users

Qualifications / Experience: Understanding of the mental health and/or learning disability field plus Professional qualification in Social Work or Professional Qualification in Nursing.All applicants must be registered, or eligible to register at the time of appointment, on the appropriate part of their professional register (NISCC, NMC, HCPC).Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Adults Management / Adults Residential Management) (Wales and Northern Ireland) and 2 years paid employment experience in a health and social care settingOrQCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care and 2 years paid employment experience in a health and social care setting.
