Job Duties: The successful candidate will be one of a team of 10 consultants who provide on-call cover plus out-patient and theatre work. This is a consultant led service providing the full range of inpatient and outpatient obstetrical and gynaecological services including Colposcopy, Urodynamics, Outpatient Hysteroscopy and gynae-oncology, within the northern sector of the Western Trust. These services are provided at Altnagelvin Hospital, as well as a range of outpatient services at Roe Valley Hospital (Limavady) and Strabane Health Centre.
Qualifications / Experience: Hold or be eligible for Full GMC registration and Licence to PractiseBe on or be eligible to be on the GMC Specialist Register for Obstetrics and Gynaecology via:CCT (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview date) orCESR orEuropean Community RightsAndPrimary Medical degreeMRCOG or equivalent specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
