Job Duties: To identify, prioritise and deliver a programme of youth work activities based on need in the Irish Street area, related to the `Model for Effective Practice.Design, develop and deliver high quality educational and developmental youth programmes which will be delivered mostly at nights and occasionally at the weekend. To identify and secure funding where necessary to deliver a programme of youth activities. See job application pack for full details.
Qualifications / Experience: ESSENTIAL CRITERIANorthern Ireland Youth Service Youth Support Worker QualificationOROCN Level 3 Introduction to Youth Work and Programme Development.OR An equivalent Youth Work Qualification or higher.Plus, a minimum of one year's experience working in a youth work setting. DESIRABLE CRITERIAA working knowledge of the needs of young people including the social and economic needs of all the areas involved in the project.
