Job Duties: The Development Officer will lead and support workforce and practice development within YWA membership including training needs identified in the DE Regional Youth Development Plan (RYDP) and EA funded Youth Service Workforce Development strategy. The role will also be responsible for the leadership and support of specialist initiatives. The role will also be responsible for leadership and support to YWA members to engage in initiatives including international work, inclusion support and effective participation structures.

Qualifications / Experience: Be qualified in accordance with the conditions of the JNC Report for Youth Workers.Have a minimum of 5 years experience of working in a paid professional capacity within the youth service.Proven or demonstrable experience of workforce and practice development within a youth work setting. Proven or demonstrable experience of devising work plans and reporting on outcomes. Proven or demonstrable experience of working collaboratively/in partnership with others.Proven or demonstrable experience in the development of training resources and direct delivery of training.
