Job Duties: Key Responsibilities To deliver support to children and young people on a one-2-one basis and in a family setting To assist in the development and delivery of services to children and young people who have experienced domestic violenceTo inform and empower children and young people to make healthy choices in their lives and relationshipsTo educate children and young people about positive healthy relationships and support networksTo promote positive mental health and well-being, in children and young people.To promote, maintain and contribute to working effectively with a team and with external agencies relevant to the post.Full details in application pack.
Qualifications / Experience: Main essential criteria for applicants is: NVQ Level 3 in Childcare/HND or equivalent child/youth work qualificationPractical experience of providing interventions and services to children, young persons and familiesKnowledge and understanding of children and young person's development and the cause and effects of domestic violence on women, children and young personsProficient in IT and the use of Microsoft Office
