Job Duties: Promote Kilkeel Sure Start and increase membership and engagement at every opportunity.To provide practical and emotional support to parents and children in their own homes, which will include support with issues such as child development, behaviour management, diet and nutrition, play, health and safety issues, and household managementTo provide play and early learning opportunities for children within their homes and within groups.To promote parent-child interaction. Work in partnership with parents.To provide advice to parents on other services to meet their needs, signposting parents to other local statutory/voluntary/community services and agencies where appropriate.To contribute to the assessment of needs of children and their parents including attending Case Planning meetings, if required.

Qualifications / Experience: QCF/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent/higher qualification in Education, Childcare, Social Care or Health related subject.
