Job Duties: The employer is: HOLY TRINITY YOUTH CENTRE.Planning and implementation of programmes, related to `A Model for Effective Practice',Ensure that young people play an active role in the youth centre & work towards a model of youth participation.Communicate effectively & develop a rapport with young people.Development of relationships with the wider community & external agencies.Assist young people to express & realise their goals.Challenge oppressive behaviour in young people.Provide information & support to young people.Support young people in evaluating youth work activities & the impact of youth work on their development.Implement the youth centre's Child Protection Policy & work with young people to safeguard their welfare & the welfare of others.Administrative duties within the youth centre.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential:Enthusiastic.Reliable.Positive attitude.Flexible.Ability to accept constructive feedback.Have experience with Youth Services.Be aged between 18-25 years old.Demonstrate knowledge of issues affecting young people.Effective communication skills.Ability to work as part of a team.No formal qualifications needed.Any recommendation for a regulated post working with children and young people will be subject to the following:- Proof of residency.Issue of a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Certificate.Receipt of satisfactory references.
