Job Duties: The employer is: THE BYTES PROJECT.Recruit, induct and retain young people on bytes projects and programmes.Facilitate ongoing consultation with young people regarding the most effective engagement activitiesResearch and support the design of new, innovation projects that incorporate new technology.Monitor, review, and report effectively on programme targets and outcomes. Ensuring that learning, resources, tools, and materials are captured effectively from programme delivery.Develop links and relationships with schools/colleges, community groups, other youth organisations and potential employers.Maintain participant files; personal records, attendance records and any other participant data required.To implement and maintain all internal Bytes policies and legal requirements.Any other duties are required by the line manager in line with the grade of the post.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.
Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:A Level 2 in Youth Work, or able to demonstrate a minimum of 1 years experience working with disengaged young people.Evidence of project design and delivery of youth initiatives Evidence of strong facilitation skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Personal commitment to addressing the needs of the most socially excluded young people and those who are not in education, training, or employment.Demonstrable strong commitment to youth work values and principles.Experience of working in partnerships within the community and voluntary sector.Desirable Criteria:ICT Qualification: GCSE Grade A-C.Experience of applying design thinking methodology to project delivery.Knowledge of social enterprise and civic activism environment in Northern Ireland and Ireland.Hold a drivers licence and have access to a car.
