Job Duties: The Parental Growth Worker will deliver a 12 week flexible Thriving Families' programme within the home or community that meets the identified needs of children, young people and parents/carers.The Parental Growth Worker will take a family centred approach promoting the value of learning as a life skill, helping to build routines, positive behaviour and the resilience to enable them to achieve their full potential. They will also support the family to promoteMy Health¿, My Community' andMy Environment' to actively strengthen the family unit.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:Minimum of QCF Level 3, or willingness to enrol on the Level 3 course by 31st March 2022, or one of the following:Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 3 Children & Young PeopleNVQ Level 3 Children's Care, Learning & DevelopmentCACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care & Education (VRQ)CACHE Level 3 Extended Diploma in Child Care & Education (Wales and NI)BTEC Higher National Diploma in Childcare StudiesBTEC National Diploma in Childcare StudiesDegree in Social WorkAdditional Essential Criteria:5 GCSE's at grade C and above including English LanguageMinimum of 1 years¿ experience (paid/ unpaid) in working with children1 years' experience recording and reporting on work doneFull & clean drivers licence and access to a car
