Job Duties: The Community Bridge Builder will focus on supporting people to reduce their isolation, become more involved with their local community and as a result become more independent and self-directing. The different components of the service are providing information and signposting; mental health promotion; self-help; volunteering; and helping form a network of opportunities to engage with and create pathways which will help people move on.
Qualifications / Experience: Educated to GCSE level (grades A-C) to include Mathematics and English language (or equivalent).Must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 6 months experience of providing support to people with a mental illness either in a paid or voluntary position.OrDemonstrate a minimum of 1 years' experience of providing support in another care setting.Able to demonstrate good written communication skillsBe registered with or be eligible to be registered with NISCC
