Job Duties: Create a positive environment where children and young people can develop skills and build confidence with a playroom setting.Provide age appropriate activities including interventions and support to children and young people who have direct or indirect experience of domestic/sexual violence and abuse.Provide opportunities for children and young people to learn new skills, to enhance self-esteem and confidence, through play, activities and outings.

Qualifications / Experience: Qualification in N.N.E.B or NVQ 3 in Child Care (or equivalent).At least 1 year's paid employment in the voluntary/statutory sector working with children and young people of all ages. This post requires frequent travel and therefore the post holder needs access to transport to carry out the duties of the post.See Personal Specification for full requirements.
