Job Duties: To analyse test results and other assessment data enabling a clear pathway for each patient. To ensure appropriate tests are carried out, whilst working closely with other professionals, both within the programme and externally. To be involved in the individual treatment plans for both adults and children, including deciding the frequency of follow-up visits for each case.To evaluate hearing aids for adults and children using programming software and hearing aid test boxes. This includes using prescription formulae, assessing signal processing settings, hearing aid programming software to determine whether the device is set optimally for the patient. Qualifications / Experience: BSc Audiology or equivalent. AND Registered with the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists (RCCP) or The Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) AND3 years relevant experience.Evidence of undertaking diagnostic testing and working with patients with severe/profound hearing losses, within the last 2 years.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
