Job Duties: The Employer is: BRITISH RED CROSS SOCIETY.Promote volunteering opportunities that we are recruiting across the UK for Independent Living and Crisis Response and research suitable networking opportunities. Listing volunteer opportunities with volunteer centres and other providers. Promoting volunteer roles on social media.Attending external events including volunteer fairs and awareness-raising sessions relating to our work, which maybe online due to COVID19. Researching networking events and partnership opportunities.Building up positive relationships with sixth forms, universities and local community groups, for promoting our opportunities.Researching opportunities to reach a diverse audience in which to promote our opportunities.Making full use of the training, development and accreditation opportunities. Setting up to three personal development goals.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: EssentialLevel 2 English and Maths or working towards it.Responsible, organised, reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent timekeeping. Basic IT skills - use of email, word and excel. Good communication skillsDesirableAwareness of the benefits of having a diverse range of volunteers within the organisation. Knowledge and understanding of Social Media platformsYou may be asked to support other services with promotion also (i.e. Mobility Aids).
