Job Duties: To collect young carers from their home and take them to arranged social outings.To return young carers home after the social outing has finished.To participate, if required in the development of programmes and to follow through agreed activity.To take responsibility for ensuring that activities are safe and enjoyable for the young carers.To work as part of a team and to support the other young carers support attendants.To work within the guidelines on child protection and adhere to this as the highest priority at all times.Record-keeping and administration as required.To attend meetings, courses and working groups as required.To undertake any other relevant duties which may be required.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:Full driving licence.Access to personal transport with adequate insurance cover for this post.Applicants must reside in the area advertised. Desirable Criteria:Any experience of interpersonal skills or youth work would be an advantage.
