Job Duties: To provide specialist psychological assessments of clients referred to the Northern Trust Brain Injury Service based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex psychological data from a variety of sources including psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the client's careTo formulate and implement plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of a client's psychological problems, based upon an appropriate conceptual framework of the client's problems, and employing methods of proven efficacy, across the full range of care settingsPlease visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.

Qualifications / Experience: Doctorate degree or equivalent accepted by the British Professional Society qualifying the person to work as a Clinical/Counselling Psychology Registered with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) on appointment.A minimum of two years working as a qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologist in addition to experience of working within the Neuropsychology or Physical/Sensory Disability specialism, or experience of working with cognitive impairment.
