Job Duties: The employer is: LIMAVADY FAMILY CENTRE -LCDI.To contribute a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the young people in the Setting.To provide a caring, secure environment through individual attention and group activities and to organise appropriate range of leisure activities for young people between the ages of 8:11.To lead or support safe, creative and appropriate play opportunities for a range of age groups and abilities to promote the mental health and wellbeing of the young people in the setting.Manage the planning of a wide range of creative and enjoyable activities, in conjunction with team members and consultation with the young people.Maintain confidential records.Counsel/Mentor the young people in the setting.Assess the needs of young people to correctly plan and deliver programs related to areas such as health, fitness, relationships and bullying.You will be entitled to annual leave during this Job opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: Ideally minimum of Level 2 Childcare Learning and Development or equivalent.Level 2 youth work qualification.Minimum 1 year's working with young people (can be paid or voluntary work).Good listening skills.Strong communication skills.Good writing skills.Good team working skills.Good leadership skills.Strong organisation and time management skills.
