Job Duties: The employer is: RSPB.General reserve maintenance including path maintenance, fencing repairs, painting, general hygiene duties. Scrub removal; removing small trees and shrubs through using handsaws and herbicide to prevent new growth the following year. Supporting existing staff to engage with communities and raise the profile of our work e.g. supporting volunteer work groups and assisting with planning and running any public engagement events, talks and promotions. You will have the opportunity to develop various skills and knowledge, and attend formal training courses associated with the role e.g. PA1/PA6 Training in the use of herbicides, Lantra accredited training in the use of strimmer equipment, and First Aid.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential:Valid driving licence; you will be working across a number of sites within the Lough Neagh area.Desirable:An interest in helping nature.Willingness to undertake active work outdoors, in all weathers.
