Job Duties: Work as lead within the WHSCT for the development, implementation and monitoring of Controlled Drug (CD) policies and procedures for WHSCT community services and secondary care sites in accordance with CD legislation, best practice guidance and Controls Assurance Standards for Medicines Optimisation and Medicines Management.Liaise with relevant Principal Pharmacists to ensure there are operating arrangements for the management and use of controlled drugs across managed and contracted WHSCT services which use controlled drugs.Responsible for developing and implementing training programs on controlled drugs ensuring training and education needs for staff groups are assessed and met achieving an increase in knowledge and competency and compliance with relevant policies.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
Qualifications / Experience: M Pharm or equivalent qualificationA postgraduate qualification to at least diploma level in a pharmaceutical, health-related or management disciplineMPSNI or eligible to register5 years post-registration experience in pharmacy including a minimum of 3 years of experience at band 7 or in community pharmacy management.Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.
