Job Duties: The work is varied and interesting and should appeal to someone with a range of general maintenance and fabrication skills. If you do not have skills in all areas, training can be provided.Tasks include: Building maintenance/improvement (around our own premises). General workshop fabrication of metal, sheet plastic, fibreglass and timber. Painting and detailing of components. Assembly, disassembly and machining of parts. GRP/ Fibreglass fabrication. Mould preparation. Mould making. Cutting, polishing and finishing of components. On-site work - removal, fitting, servicing, repair and restoration of exterior clocks, clock mechanisms and bells.

Qualifications / Experience: We require someone with great all round maintenance/building/fabrication skills: a proficient jack of all trades.No formal qualifications are necessary and training will be provided, but ideally you should have exceptional manual skills with a range of previous experience/projects as proof of your competency. You should be particular in your work and have pride in it. Have a keen eye for detail.You must be tidy in your work and must be tidy in your work space. All necessary skills are not expected at the beginning but previous experience in any of the following industries may be useful: construction work, maintenance, joinery, car/bike repair, car body work, signage, electrical installation, metal engineering, welding or the GRP (fibre-glass moulding) industry.Able to work reliably with or without supervision. You should have good interpersonal skills.A CSR card or driving licence would be beneficial but not essential.
